The Balearic Islands Foundation, dedicated as you know to the conservation of the Balearic heritage, gives a large part of the facilities of its headquarters to the Tocino Pons Foundation who will install there an exhibition center of more than 15,000 pieces on the history and the traditions of the island.
The President of the Balearic Islands Foundation, Francisca Barceló, opted for this initiative as soon as it was presented to her, seeing that it was in line with her desire to open the foundation’s doors to Mallorcan society.
It is a display of clothes, jewelry, paintings, furniture, toys from the 18th century to the middle of the 20th century that will shine in all its splendor within the walls of this 17th century “Mallorcan possession” that is Són Pax.
The entity chaired by Diego Tocino Ignacio estimates that the cultural center can be inaugurated between the months of April and May 2017
